Many are already dived into this kind of organization while in student level. Our goals are to show them how we, as Gadjah Mada Oil and Gas Club, directly participate with oil and gas issues and how we indirectly contribute ourselves with the real actions at students’ perspective.

Message Energy is always being an interesting issue to be discussed. Since the growing needs of energy in developing countries and emerging economies such as Indonesia is always escalated exponentially, this is becoming the challenge of the Government and NGOs (Non-Government Organizations) to ensure the demand of energy is met the supply for the future generation. Some of the energy outlook says that until 2050 the global need of energy is still dominated by conventional resources, oil and gas. Therefore, the comprehensive knowledge is needed for all aspects in oil and gas businesses.
Based on this phenomenon, GOGC (Gadjah Mada Oil and Gas Club) was formed, an energy club which consists of interdisciplinary perspective that discuss and give the comprehensive solution about the oil and gas issue in Indonesia. GOGC, as the only one multidisciplinary energy club in Indonesia, with Energy Study Center (Pusat Studi Energi, PSE) of UGM, support the Government’s plans in solving Grand Energy Challenge through our agendas, they are Indonesian Youth Energy Forum 2015, Oil and Gas International Seminar 2015, and National Student Conference 2015.
